Add a short run to the nearshore reefs into the mix, and even the possibility of a deep sea adventure, and it’s easy to see why Navarre fishing charters are in such high demand.
Where better to start your journey than on your doorstep? Whether north-side in the East Bay, or south-side in the sound, you’ll come across many of the same fish. Get ready for serious action as you target “Bull” Redfish and “Gator” Trout, along with Flounder, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Bluefish, and Tarpon when the season hits. Head a little further to the Pensacola Bay, and you could even get your hands on Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, and Sharks!
The action doesn’t stop there. In the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico, you’ll come across plenty of productive reefs. Here, you’ll find Snappers, Gag Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, Triggerfish, and Kingfish. This was our first time to Navarre Beach and the fishing was just okay. We are accustomed to catching a lot of fish while on vacation, though Captain Mike was great and pointed out numerous local spots and was able to provide names of all the fish we were able to catch. If we come back to Navarre, we will hit Captain Mike up again! We saw lots of dolphins and the Blue Angels on our fishing excursion, so that was an added plus.

I would have given 5* but the reason I did 4* is I was catching a lot of fish but never got them to the boat because they would bite my line off! I needed a heavier test but nothing was rigged up. Our guide was great and my kids had a blast! I would recommend this to anyone.
