Reel Legend Fishing Charters invites you to join them in the ‘World’s Luckiest Fishing Village’ to enjoy a deep sea fishing excursion with a knowledgeable crew. With over four decades of experience, Captain Richie and his first mate know how to put you on fish.

Their passion and experience speak for themselves. Capt. Richie and his first mate will take great care of you and your party throughout the entire trip. From the beginner angler to experienced fisherman, everyone is welcome to join in the adventure. All trips are family-friendly; don’t hesitate to bring your younger anglers with you!

You will have a blast on the ‘Reel Legend.’ She is a 46’ Custom-built fishing machine with twin 300 HP Cummins Diesels engines and enough room for up to 13 passengers, while 6 can fish at a time. The Reel Legend is a great vessel for anything from bottom fishing to trolling. She is equipped with a restroom, an air-conditioned cabin, a sleeping area, and top-notch electronics to put you on fish.

Make sure to bring a big cooler for all your catch! The list of your potential targets will depend on the season and will include Red, Vermilion, and Mangrove Snapper, as well as Gag and Black Grouper, Kingfish, Cobia, Bonito, and Amberjack.

All rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and licenses will be included in the price of your trip. Catch cleaning is done by the first mate at the end of the trip. Come on down for a trip to remember with Reel Legend Fishing Charters!

The business started out for us as guest being taken out fishing on this very boat. Having a love for the ocean and fishing we decided one day to purchase this business. Having a love for providing a special experience for our guest and making memories is what we enjoy. Once you've fished in Destin you will be hooked! Just like we were. I would say my favorite species of fish is definently grouper, fun to fight and great to eat!!
