I surprised my husband with this fishing experience for his birthday and he loved it! We both had a great time and really enjoyed our overall experience. Capitan Aaron is very knowledgeable in this industry and is a very nice guy! He made the experience that much more enjoyable; helped every step of the way, while still letting us take the reigns and attempting each step on our own. It felt like we had known him our whole life and we were just fishing with a friend, all day. 10/10 recommend him as your captain. Thank you Captain Aaron, will definitely do this again in the future!

I had never fished before this experience. I booked it for my brother who was visiting from Utah. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but though some time on the ocean can never hurt.

I HAD THE BEST TIME EVER! Captain Matt was the BEST teacher. He taught me how to cast first thing. He was very encouraging, super chill and so much fun to spend 5 hours with. He’s so knowledgeable of the waters, the best places to fish, and taught me some great techniques.

I caught a shark, sheepshead, monster trout and a very impressive redfish.

I would HIGHLY recommend for your next fishing adventure. You will not be disappointed.

Took my son and nephew on their first bay fishing trip with Captain Matt.  We originally had a morning trip booked but with the wind and the weather not looking so good Matt suggested we go in the afternoon.  I was a little worried about afternoon fishing because I have never had any luck in the past but took his word on it.  Man he didn’t disappoint and had us on fish the whole trip!!!  My son caught a monster sheepshead that was almost 13lb and a moster 40” bull red!! Caught another huge bull but had to toss him back cause I used my tag on the boys fish.  All in all we kept 12 but landed closer to 18..  We had a great time and will def be using this charter again as this will now be an annual event for us.  Captain Matt was very interactive with all of us and was just an all around awesome dude.  I can’t recommend him enough!!  thank you sir for making this trip so memorable for all of us!!

The first spots weren’t producing much, however, Captain Grace was on it. If a spot didn’t produce quality fish within his allotted time he would pick up and move to another spot. We eventually doubled up on reds and they kept coming. Overall it was a great fishing day, Aaron never kept us bored or waiting at one spot for action. Looking forward to booking him in February!

Second time we’ve been out with Grace Fishing Charters and this time was just as enjoyable as the first. Matt and Aaron are both great people who will work like crazy to put you on fish. This trip wasn’t as “successful” as the first, but it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying and we literally had just as much fun as the first trip. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. If you’re using guides in Galveston, do yourself a favor and go out with Matt or Aaron.
