Wet Line Charters LLC runs angling trips out of Panama City and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Capt. Jay will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Dolphin, Grouper, and Cobia, depending on the season and conditions of the day.

You’ll be fishing from a 34’ Pursuit boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet, ice box, and wireless trolling motor.

All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. The captain will also supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.

You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.

Capt. Jay runs trips together with his first mate, who’s there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Wet Line Charters is a new family-owned and operated business. The owner and captain Jay Wood is from Bowdon, Georgia, and has been fishing all his life. He moved to Panama City at the beginning of 2017. Capitan Jay has always had a deep passion for fishing of all kinds. He began his newfound career at the beginning of 2021. However, Jay has been fishing the Gulf since he was a child. Captain Jay is accompanied by his brother-in-law, co-Captain/deckhand Chad Hamrick who has been fishing the Gulf for many years. Wet Line Charters specializes in bottom fishing but has many different trips to offer from bay fishing to trolling trips. Captain Jay runs a 34' Pursuit named Precious with 2 new 2018 Suzuki 350 outboards that give you less ride time and more fishing time.
