We booked an 8 hour charter to target mahi, Marlin, and tuna. Rafael our deckhand was awesome, he went above and beyond to get us on fish the entire time. He was very conversational and made the trip that much more enjoyable. We caught 14 mahi (kept the limit of 8) and continued to target Marlin and mahi. Unfortunately we didn’t come across any Marlin but that’s fishing for you. Highly recommend Reel Tequila with Rafael as the deckhand and Jose as the captain.

The whole crew was efficient and professional. From the minute we arrived on the doc they were ready to go. I did have to initiate communication via messaging but I believe that’s just due to language barrier. Rafael and Jose took good care of us the whole time. They provided beverages and lunch. Right off the bat we had a Marlin on the line but it broke and the crew did their best to catch it. We had a couple more goes but didn’t get a marlin. We caught about 8 fish and took the dorado for lunch/dinner. Outside of fishing, we saw a school of dolphin playing and jumping, turtles mating, and stingrays. It was a great day overall. The boat has 2 seats and a small half bed for laying. I would fish with this crew again!

I just got back from an incredible fishing trip in Cabo San Lucas on the boat “Reel Tequila” and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. Even though we only caught one fish, a Bonito, I had so much fun and the crew worked so hard to make sure we had a great time.

From the moment we stepped on board, the crew was friendly and welcoming. They provided us with all the gear we needed and gave us a rundown of what to expect. They were patient with us as we tried to catch some fish and even offered us tips and tricks to help us improve our chances.

Despite only catching one fish, it was still an exhilarating experience. There’s something about being out on the water, feeling the sun on your face, and listening to the sound of the waves that is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.

After our fishing adventure, we were able to enjoy the fish we caught at a nearby restaurant. It was so satisfying to know that we had caught our own dinner and were able to enjoy it in such a beautiful location.

Overall, I would highly recommend the “Reel Tequila” fishing trip to anyone looking for a fun and unforgettable experience in Cabo San Lucas. The crew was fantastic, the fishing was exciting, and the memories we made will last a lifetime. Five stars all around!

Started bright and early, got a rode from our hotel to the dock and we were escorted to the boat.

Headed straight out to sea because that’s where they were catching Marlin recently.

Seas were a bit rough, and my wife and I got seasick. However, once we yaked we felt great!
They went closer to shore to make it easier on us after that

Only 1 hookup trolling, and when we got near the marina we found a school of Mahi and used the live bait.(ask the captain for live bait, it’s like 40$) and makes the fishing so much more enjoyable. You get to hold the rod and set the hook.

Crew was great, burritos were amazing after our stomachs recovered.

Overall great day

Captain Jose and Andreas were excellent fishing guides.  We requested a Snapper trip (unusual as they are commercial fish and not sport fish.)  We cruised the shelf with bottom fishing lures and were surprised by the amount of Snapper.  What a blast!  Great fight, dive deep and as you can see in the pictures, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!  Giant Red Snapper (more Golden) and the meat was incredible for sashimi, Ceviche and Grilled!  I can’t thank this team enough for a great overall experience.
