Captain Izzuddin moved over to the area 25 years ago, and saw there wasn’t a way to easily book fishing trips – so he made his own charter company! He loves fishing these waters and showing his customers a good time.

Hop on board the 33’ Ocean Pro boat. There’s enough space for 6 anglers to fish at the same time, perfect for groups of friends. There’s a private toilet and a stereo on board, along with safety and navigational equipment, so you can fish with peace of mind.

The trips with Pulau Jarak Boat Charter are best for experienced anglers only. It’s a long day with a lot of tough fishing. The minimum age for these trips is 16 years old.

Your schedule for the day is flexible based on your requests. It will take 90 minutes to get to the fishing grounds, with around 2 hours spent fishing for live bait. You’re welcome to ask the captain to head to a nearby island or spend some time relaxing. But with the hookup this good, why would you want it to stop?

As well as local species available, you’ll be targeting Grouper, Golden Snapper, Giant Trevally, Cobia, Bigeye Trevally, and more.

As these trips are directed to experienced anglers, it’s assumed you’ll bring your own rods and reels along. If you need to hire the gear on the day, it will be $50 for a set of Daiwa or Shimano.

You can find someone at the docks to clean your catch for you after the trip, for around $2 per fish. You won’t need to buy a fishing license for this area. The captain will provide some snacks and water, soft drinks, and coffee. You’ll need a packed lunch for the long day out.

    This is an 18-hour fishing trip for experienced anglers only. The ride to the fishing grounds is 90 minutes. It can take 2 hours to catch enough live bait for the day. Please bring your own gear, food, drinks, and a raincoat. Gear can be hired on the day for $50 per set and catch cleaning is available at the docks for an additional cost. You'll be targeting Golden Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Giant Trevally, Bigeye Trevally, Barracuda, Threadfin, Stingray and more.

Captain Shafaril Izzuddin likes to go by his surname. He has been fishing for 20 years and has a skipper on board who has been fishing for a decade. He used to be a navy boat operator and is very skilled and adept in case of emergencies. Capt. Izzuddin decided to open his own charter company after finding it very difficult to go find a boat and go fishing in the area. He has been living in this area for over 25 years and knows all the best places to go fishing. He enjoys participating in tournaments as well.
